Absorption


Complete absorption of poly (glycolide-co-Σ-caprolactone) between 90 and 110 days.

Laparomesh II is used in patients with high risk factors: Oncological patients, Diabetics, Immunodepressed patients, patients with morbid or extreme obesity, Elderly patients e and in the following specialties: Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Urological Surgery, Gynecological Surgery.

Method of use


Laparomesh II is implanted at the midline by including its vertical component between the edges of the aponeurosis.

Fascial closure (suture+mesh) is achieved with a running polydioxanone or polypropylene suture (Assufil monofilament, Assupro) or Filbloc.

The horizontal mesh component may be placed, or not, in contact with the visceral peritoneum since adhesions are avoided by its cellulose coating.
